Bokeo Province & The Gibbon Experience

Bokeo, in northwestern Laos, is the country’s hidden gateway — where the Mekong River meets Thailand and wild forests stretch toward the Golden Triangle. It’s the starting point for the famous Gibbon Experience, one of the most unique eco-adventures in Southeast Asia. The Bokeo Nature Reserve, located in the province of the same name, is a sanctuary for a variety of animal and plant species. Spanning more than 1 000 km², it consists mainly of tropical rainforests, mountains, and rivers. With DCS Travel, explore responsibly — discover wild nature, local life, and safe adventure off the main path.
