DCS Travel – Terms of Service

Who we are

DCS Travel is an initiative of Digital Collaborative Schools (DCS), 37 rue des Landes, 78400 Chatou, France. Contact: contact@dcstravel.org. Website: dcstravel.org.

1) What we provide

• Destination guides, tips and community resources.
• Membership plans: Free, Traveler (one-time), Explorer (30 days), Nomad & Business (monthly).
• Optional WhatsApp help for practical travel questions.
• We may introduce you to local insiders/guides/drivers (“Insiders”). They are independent, not DCS employees.

DCS is not a travel agency, does not sell transport/hotel services, and is not party to your contracts with Insiders or providers.

2) Using the site

• You must be 18+ to purchase a plan.
• Keep your login secure and use the site lawfully and respectfully.
• Do not copy, resell, interfere with or misuse the site, content, or services.

3) Content & accuracy

We try to keep information current, but travel details change. You remain responsible for your own decisions, visas, insurance, health/safety and local laws. WhatsApp help is advice only (not emergency or professional services).

4) Payments, plans & cancellations

• Payments are processed by Stripe (card, Apple/Google Pay, SEPA where available). DCS never stores full card data.
• Traveler Pass (€25 one-time): lifetime for one destination (no renewal).
• Explorer (€49 / 30 days): access ends automatically after 30 days (no auto-renew).
• Nomad & Business (€29 / month): renews monthly until you cancel in My Account (access until end of paid period).
• Refunds: digital access is generally non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law. Billing issues: contact us within 30 days.

5) Insiders & third parties

When you book with an Insider/partner, your agreement is with them. They are responsible for their services, pricing, insurance, and compliance. DCS is not liable for their actions, availability, or quality.

7) Intellectual property

All text, logos and designs on dcstravel.org are owned by DCS or our licensors. Do not copy or redistribute without permission.

8) Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, DCS is not liable for lost profits, bookings, data, delays, injuries, or indirect/consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to DCS in the last 12 months or €200, whichever is higher.

9) Changes & availability

We may update plans, features, or these Terms. The updated date will appear above. Continued use means you accept the changes. We may suspend access for maintenance or security.

10) Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Courts of Paris, France have non-exclusive jurisdiction (consumer mandatory rights still apply).
